About that Stanford report that organics are not better than conventional . . .

Update 9/13/12, from commondreams.org:

Big Ag Directly Funded Stanford Study

Update, later, 9/12/12: Here’s another assessment as to why the study was a fraud, by Jon Rappaport.

Here’s the report.

Little evidence of health benefits from organic foods

Oh yeah? Here’s Frances Moore-Lappe’s response:

Stanford Scientists shockingly reckless on Health Risks and Organics

More to the point: “Health Ranger” Mike Adams poked around and discovered this:

Busted! Co-author of Stanford study that bashed organics found to have deep ties to Big Tobacco’s anti-science propaganda

We’ve got to remember that industrial medicine and food and academia are all entertwined in a toxic, unsustainable soup.

Who, after all, would fund such a study? Follow the money.
