Everything you didn’t want to know about Fukushima: Helen Caldicott

This video was made in February, 2014, not quite three years after the defining event, so far, of the 21st century. The contents of the video are still, and most likely for centuries to come, current.

The interviewer begins by saying that no one he knows in the U.S. will talk about Fukushima. And no wonder. Just as with geoengineering, ubiquitous in our hazy skies on a daily basis; how do we dare think or talk about something so ongoingly horrific that, to truly face and embrace the entire situation, would be to shift our internal state so utterly as to be unrecognizable. On the other hand, geoengineering could stop, just by making a decision to do so. But Fukushima? Well, as Caldicott points out, “There ARE no best case scenarios.”

Yes. So to fortify ourselves, we might want to visit or revisit

Joanna Macy: On how to prepare internally for WHATEVER comes next

Helen Caldicott, an Australian M.D., was the first person I had ever heard use the phrase “This beautiful Earth” — back in the early ’80s, when she began her passionate campaign to rid our planet of the scourge of nuclear weapons. The emotion in her voice as she said it then, brought me to tears.

There is one phrase in this 36-minute video (which begins with her detailing the complexity of the various reactors, cores, contaminated water sources, fuel rods, holding tanks, etc. of that GE – designed nuclear plant of which I think she said there are 23 just like it currently operating in the U.S.) with which I would take issue, and that’s her final remark: “This Earth] may be the ONLY life in the universe.”

If it’s true that ET visitations ramped up enormously after 1945, we should know why. And see this.

Fukushima was devastated by a massive earthquake on March 11, 2011 which led directly to a massive failure causing hydrogen explosions which blew the roof off of at least two of the reactor buildings. Tepco and the Japanese government have understated the radiation dangers and the dire reality of the situation from day one. Helen says, at this point there is no “best case scenario” for Fukushima, just worsening degrees of horror because it’s scientifically impossible to clean up…

Interesting…I was just listening to Helen and reached the point when she was talking about the frequency ofthyroid cancer in children under age 18 being normally 1 in 2+million, when the site quit. NO LONGER AVAILABLE.
