Rather than (fruitlessly) trying to change the top-down structures that hold old ways of doing things in place, work bottom up:

“Do simple, low-key things that other people can copy. Copying allows rapid evolution because each copy can improve. Small-scale replication rather than big giant projects creates leverage for larger positive change.”
