Today, walking with puppy Shadow, I happened to look over and notice: ommigoddess, the sign’s up! The structure for it had been up for a few days. Now the sign itself, the first of five to grace the edges of our Green Acres Neighborhood. You can follow the saga of Katarina’s year-long, successful group effort to get a $10,000 grant from the city to design and install signs here:

This first sign is two-sided, along the bike trail near the tunnel under the Bypass. Each sign is going to feature something slightly different. This one has bikers!

Each sign will feature our Green Acres logo:

Flower boxes will also be installed under each sign. Katarina is calling for volunteers to help with this aspect of the project.
