This long and involved predictive piece painstakingly details the history of Barack Obama as the Illuminati choice for “good cop” U.S puppet President to follow “bad cop” G.W. Bush.

The piece is, unfortunately, well worth reading.

I am coming, yes, finally, to realize without “hope” or reservation that, along with millions of other idealists, I was suckered.

(But . . but wait! — the teensiest part of me still wants to think, to “hope”: could he wake up in the middle of his programming? Could the Manchurian Candidate come alive? But how, in the den of snakes that surrounds him? But how, and not be assassinated?)

Even so, it does seem as if Empire is collapsing.

(Could it really be? Or is this too, just “hope” springing eternal?)

How pitiful “Emperor” seemed on the eve of 9/11/13, when he stood, small, helpless, and exhausted, mouthing the same tired phrases that, in the past, were guaranteed to drum up chest-beating American “exceptionalism,” a word that on the very next day, we saw mirrored in an op-ed by Vladimir Putin in the New York Times?

It is extremely dangerous to encourage people to see themselves as exceptional, whatever the motivation. There are big countries and small countries, rich and poor, those with long democratic traditions and those still finding their way to democracy. Their policies differ, too. We are all different, but when we ask for the Lord’s blessings, we must not forget that God created us equal.

Here’s how Icke’s 2008 piece concludes:
