I repost it here because it may help us realize that this IS the choice point, we must become citizens, and let go of our stupid mind-controlled label as “consumer.” One way to begin to do this right now is to take the template I gave you in the last post and tweak it for your town. As Robert Reich warns, “The TPP is NAFTA on steroids.”
Insist that your own city council take up the cause of defeating, at the grassroots, the TPP. Educate them! I’ve been told that we have until after the presidential election circus to achieve this, since none of the candidates want to touch the subject. If so, we can thank the blessing of timing! But: Time IS of the essence. Let’s each of us do our part in arousing the citizenry of thousands of small and large towns in America into informed activism, by saying, and saying why: NO to the TPP.
